AliveCor today announced the launch of its comprehensive enterprise heart health solution KardiaComplete.
AliveCor, based in Mountain View, Calif., designed the KardiaComplete platform to improve health outcomes and reduce the cost of cardiac care for people with hypertension and arrhythmias, such as AFib, through their self-insured employers, their health insurance plans and their health systems.
The company said in a press release that KardiaComplete leverages data from its KardiaMobile 6L electrocardiogram (ECG), as well as Omron’s Evolv blood pressure cuff, to support coaching and caregiving needs in the moments that matter. The platform’s live, digital heart health coaching helps address heart issues with lifestyle management tools that promote heart-healthy eating, movement, stress management, and healthy sleep.
Additionally, the KardiaComplete platform offers virtual assistant support and personalized cardiac data analytics to enable people living with heart disease to better manage their health.
The company said modeled analysis of claims from eligible commercial health plan members with hypertension and/or AFib showed that KardiaComplete saved approximately $160 per enrollee per month after one year. AliveCor plans to expand its future KardiaComplete offerings to people living with other serious heart conditions like heart failure and coronary artery disease.
“KardiaComplete goes beyond short-term monitoring and education to provide payers and employers with a more robust solution to manage patient care and drive lasting results,” said AliveCor’s CEO. Priya Abani said in the statement. “We have brought our wealth of experience in AI and user-friendly devices and services to invent a unique virtual disease management program that can complement existing programs and streamline patient care. »
