Children’s Square USA now offers behavioral and mental health services in Omaha


OMAHA, NEBRASKA, USA, May 11, 2022 / — Children’s place USA, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children and families have bright futures through social-emotional wellness, is proud to provide behavioral and mental health services to youth in the Omaha community. from June 1.

Under the direction of a child psychiatrist, Children’s Square behavioral health services and outpatient programs offer a variety of resources and benefits, including:

● Trauma-informed outpatient therapy by an experienced clinical team
● A board certified psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents and family
● A community approach to mental health care
● Access to behavioral health intervention services at home
● Individual and family therapy options to meet the individual needs of each client
● Medication management

The Children’s Square clinical team strives to meet the unique needs of each child and family. The organization provides behavioral and mental health services for children and youth up to 18 years old to meet a wide range of needs, including but not limited to:

● Anxiety and depression
● Behavioral issues
● Attachment issues
● Early childhood intervention
● Problematic sexual behaviors
● Physical, sexual and emotional abuse
● Trauma

Under the direction of a highly experienced, board-certified child psychiatrist with extensive educational and clinical experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, Children’s Square will provide care to children and families through its residential treatment program, an emergency shelter, integrated health services and ambulatory care. Services. Services will expand to Council Bluffs this summer.
