HUAWEI Watch GT3 Review: Best for health management

The HUAWEI Watch GT3 in Gold is sleek and streamlined and has the feel of a fashionable dress watch, but it’s still tough enough to wear day or night and has some awesome features, especially when it comes to managing your health.

For me, I am not new to HUAWEI smartwatches and recently swapped my previous HUAWEI Band 6 for the latest version.

Gold is my color when it comes to watches, even jewelry, so the new gold rim and mesh strap are a perfect match.

But it’s the GT3’s ability to track my health with continuous, real-time, and accurate monitoring of blood oxygen saturation, sleep, heart rate, and stress for my daily health management that tick all the boxes. Plus, you can wear it all day without worrying about running out of charge, which is extremely useful because let’s face it, who wants to get stuck without knowing the time?

One thing HUAWEI is famous for is producing smartwatches and smart phones with long battery life, and the GT3 series lives up to the brand’s reputation with up to 14 days of juice, which sets it apart from many other smartwatches on the market.

It also supports Android and iOS devices, which is important considering I use an Apple iPhone.

One feature I’m getting used to is the fact that it supports Bluetooth calling and texting from your wrist, and it still feels weird answering a call on your watch and feeling a vibration every time you receive it. notification by e-mail or SMS. But it really comes down to personal preference, and you can easily turn off the notifications you don’t want and, for me, it’s the activity tracker that I find the most useful.

It is highly customizable to suit your needs. You can, for example, choose from a wide selection of custom watch faces. It’s also fun to explore the multiple options available to you from the sleep monitoring feature, breathing and relaxation apps, and handy items like a torch when you’re caught in the dark. .

The GT3 series has more third-party apps than in previous smartwatch versions, and you can choose from travel, entertainment, music, fitness, health, and even games. In all, there are over 100 workout modes covering professional workouts of hiking, open water swimming, skiing, golfing, jogging, walking, swimming, rowing and the list goes on. . If I sit too long, I even get a notification to get up and move.

The watch is intuitive to use and easy to set up with the HUAWEI Health app and it features a rotating crown with tactile feedback, which makes it operate with a high-precision finger movement using the checkerboard design of the launcher that can be moved and zoomed freely. in a fluid way.

It’s almost like having a silent personal trainer watching you 24/7, which for me comes in handy when I’m spending too much time as a couch potato on a rainy day. So overall I like the new HUAWEI Watch GT3 and Women Love Tech gave it a five out of five star rating.
