Jennifer Lopez reveals difficult health diagnosis as she is supported by Ben Affleck and children

Jennifer Lopez always appears the epitome of cool, calm and serene, but the superstar felt like he was spiraling out of control in the past.

The jenny from the block hitmaker opened up in her newsletter, On the JLo, and revealed she suffered severe panic attacks in her late twenties.

She wrote: “There was a time in my life when I slept 3-5 hours a night. I was on set all day and in the studio all night and doing junkets and filming videos on the weekends .

“I was in my late twenties and thought I was invincible. Until one day I was sitting in a trailer, and all the work and stress it brought, coupled with a lack of sleep to mentally recuperate, caught up with me.”

Her revelation about her past comes at a happy and healthy time in her life as she is supported by her fiancé, Ben Affleckand his children, Emme and Max.

But before they were in her life, Jennifer said she crashed to the ground. “I went from feeling completely normal to thinking about what I should do that day and all of a sudden I felt like I couldn’t move. I was completely frozen”, she says.

Jennifer said she had panic attacks before she started prioritizing her health

The physical symptoms “started to scare me and the fear got worse. Now I know it was a classic panic attack brought on by exhaustion, but I hadn’t even heard the term before. era.”

JLo was scared and worried that she was seriously mentally ill.

“My on-set security picked me up and drove me to the doctor,” the mother-of-two continued. “By the time I got there I could at least talk again and I was so terrified I thought I was losing my mind. I asked the doctor if I was going crazy.

He said, ‘No, you’re not crazy. You need to sleep…sleep 7-9 hours a night, don’t drink caffeine, and make sure you exercise if you have to do that much work.’”

This was the turning point when Jennifer realized how important it was to take care of herself.

For decades, she’s made her health her priority and knows that daily workouts aren’t just about looking good — she has to feel good too.

“I realized how serious the consequences could be if I ignored what my body and mind needed to be healthy,” she continued. “And that’s where my journey to wellness began.”
