General InformationGenprin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Genprin is used to reduce fever and relieve minor to moderate pain from conditions such as muscle aches, toothaches, menstrual cramps, and headaches. Genprin may also be used to reduce inflammation and swelling in conditions such as arthritis. In some cases, Genprin is also given to prevent blood clot. It also temporarily relieves the aches and pains associated with arthritis, muscle aches, colds, and flu. Aspirin is also used in low doses, alone or in combination with other medications, as a blood thinner to prevent blood clots after surgery on clogged arteries and to reduce the risk of stroke or heart attack. Genprin passes into breast milk and may affect a nursing infant. Do not take this medicine without first talking to your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby. Genprin should not be given to children under 16 for flu or chickenpox, as Aspirin has been associated with the development of an often-fatal condition, known as Reye's syndrome. This drug may rarely cause serious bleeding from the stomach or other areas of the body. Genprin Dosage
